Mark Schmeissing, Deacon

Mark and his wife Kristen moved to the Boston area in 2013 and have been attending City on a Hill ever since that fall. Both Mark and Kristen graduated from Wheaton College (IL) and moved to Boston for Mark to pursue an MBA from Boston University. Following his graduation in 2015, Mark continued to work in the city for an international health development nonprofit and Kristen is an oncology nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital. In 2017, they welcomed Luke into their family and they currently live in Somerville. As a deacon, Mark chairs the Finance Team and is involved in the lay oversight of CoaH finances. In addition, he has been involved in the training and operation of the technology for the audio/visual elements of the Sunday services at CoaH.
