About Our Justice Ministry
City on a Hill believes that Jesus has reached out to us, and that Christians are called to do the same by loving our neighbors both in word and deed. Current opportunities include:
Opportunities with Steps to Success/Brookline Housing (students and families who live in public housing):
- Help students with homework at one of many after-school home centers in Brookline Public Schools and at Brookline Public Housing.
- Volunteer at adult ESL classes as conversation partners with residents of public housing
Opportunities with Step by Step Supportive Services (adults with psychiatric or developmental disabilities)
- Saturday outings with residents of SBS
- Admin help to SBS case workers + staff
- Informal walks + social outings
