Big Move

  • Coolidge Corner Brookline, MA (map)

As everyone who lives in Boston knows, there are 1,000s of people who move every September 1st - many of whom have very limited help carrying this boxes.

On Thursday, September 1st our CoaH community has the opportunity to give back to the community in a huge way. We are encouraging all those who can to spend September 1st with us as we help people move in to houses and apartments all over Brookline. Take a day off of work if you can! Isn't helping people a good reason to use a vacation day?

We believe this is a practical way we can love and help our neighbors. It is also an opportunity for us to show people know what the church is all about - glorifying God while serving others. Those who can come will meet at the Coolidge Corner Panera at 9am for a time of prayer and the chance to split into groups.

If you would like to lead a group in a different area of Boston, please email and let her know.

Other Groups meeting in the Boston area:

  • Harris/Freeman Group: Meeting at 39 Ellingwood St in the Mission Hill area at 5PM on September 1st. They will lead a group around Mission Hill from 5-7PM and afterwards will have pizza and beverages at their apartment for those who participate.

Also, everyone usually wears their CoaH T-shirt for the Big Move. We're making an order if you need one or a new one! Sign up here.
