City on a Hill Brighton will launch the Fall of 2019 as a new church striving to see this vision become a reality.

Brighton is a neighborhood bustling with college students, young professionals and families making up a community of over 50,000 residents in only 4 sq/mi. It’s position just a few miles from Boston College, Boston University, Harvard and MIT, makes Brighton a strategic center for serving college students who will move on to influence the world. Not only that, but it’s unique mix of young families, native Bostonians and foreign-born population makes Brighton a wonderfully vibrant neighborhood to love, serve and share.

We look forward to starting this new church, so that every person of every race in Brighton would experience the hope of Jesus. It's a big task, but we have a bigger God.

Sunday Morning Gathering.jpg

Coming Fall 2019, you can expect to connect with people each Sunday who are probably a lot like you. Our community is made up of young professionals, moms, dads, marrieds, artists, singles, and students. You’ll experience a welcoming community, rich music, and teaching from the Bible that connects to real life and points to Jesus.

Our gatherings include believers, seekers and skeptics, all coming to connect to Jesus and each other. We’d love to have you join us.

  • Dress is casual, just be yourself.

  • The whole service lasts 90 minutes. It includes songs, prayer, a message from our pastor, communion, and a benediction. You should feel free to participate as much or as little as you like. Our services tend to have people from all sorts of spiritual backgrounds and at different places in their spiritual lives.

  • The worship is usually led by a multi-cultural and talented band. We include both contemporary songs and traditional hymns as well as responsive readings.

Community Group Pic - Stock.jpg

Because we are made for community, community groups are vital to the life of our church. Our community groups gather weekly for a meal, socializing, Scripture discussion, and prayer. Whether you are a new or seasoned believer or someone just exploring the faith, you'll benefit from the friendships and spiritual growth cultivated in our community groups.

How do I choose a group? We always recommend that you try to find the group that meets closest to where you live. This will let you see those people you’re in group with more than just once a week. If there are several groups close to you, just choose one you think will work best!
