City on a Hill Somerville launched on Easter 2018 as a new church plant serving Somerville. Prior to Easter 2018, CoaH Somerville existed as Redeemer Church, which was planted in the fall of 2014. After two years of close collaboration, Redeemer Church and City on a Hill Brookline partnered together on Easter 2018 as a network of neighborhood churches out of a deep belief that we can do more for the gospel in the city together than apart.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Each Sunday, you can expect to connect with people who are probably a lot like you. Our community is made up of young professionals, moms, dads, marrieds, artists, singles, and students. You’ll experience a welcoming community, rich music, and teaching from the Bible that connects to real life and points to Jesus.

Our gatherings include believers, seekers and skeptics, all coming to connect to Jesus and each other.

We’d love to have you join us.

COMMUNITY GROUPS

Because we are made for community, community groups are vital to the life of our church. Our community groups gather weekly in homes for a meal, socializing, Scripture discussion, and prayer. Whether you are a new or seasoned believer or someone just trying out what it means to follow Jesus, you'll benefit from the friendships and spiritual growth cultivated in our community groups.
